Urethra Play Sounding Wand Set — 13 Piece Dittel Sounding Wands
Sounds come in a variety of styles and are used in slightly different ways. Below you will find some of the different styles and the use of each.
- Dittel sounds have a flat end and a rounded end. The flat end unscrews.
- Hegar sounds have two rounded ends, are fairly short, and are mildly curved in shape.
- Pratt sounds are longer urethral dilators (double ended ones are usually almost a foot long) with rounded and slightly bent ends.
- Van Buren sounds have a very pronounced curve on one end, specifically for the purpose of reaching the bladder.
- Henk sounds have a more pronounced curve at the ends, as well as a metal rib on each end.
This listing is for a Dittle Sound Wand Set that comes with 13 pieces. Each piece measures 9″ in length; see below for thickness. From tip to groove, it measures 1″ and the removable end is 2″ long by 3/4″ wide.
